The cliffs at Yesnaby, Orkney
05·10·09 Rock fin

I had an enjoyable few days in Orkney last week, doing some training with the Radio Orkney newsroom.

It rained for most of the trip, but the sun came out one evening so I headed over to Yesnaby on the west coast to watch the sun set.

You drive through a fairly mundane landscape of low-lying agricultural land - and then all of a sudden these cliffs appear.

Gorgeous picture. Cliffs look even more striated than the Glamorgan coast.

Hi Natalie, thanks for the comment. Now you mention it, yes - they are quite similar to the Glamorgan coast.
