| 30-Dec 07 | Ben More | Leading, Winter | With four trainees. Went up the north-east ridge of Ben More. Cloudy and cold. | 13-Apr 07 | Meal Glas | Leading | Excellent day. Walked up to the wide col via the track which came down to the shielings on the opposite side of the river. Weather hot and sunny, though a bit breezy on the tops. All trainees were adamant they weren't going up anything on the walkout. Managed to persuade/cajole/bribe them to the top of Meall Glas and then Beinn Cheathaich before descending to the valley. A long hot walk down and almost thwarted by a deer fence blocking us from the track, but George managed to get us through a gate.

| 1-Apr 05 | Inverlochlarig | Leading | Walked directly from camp back to Inverlochlarig. Rain early, but cleared up. All trainees reacted most un-stoically to an intricately constructed April Fool, with Gordon Marshall radioing me from his tent pretending to be the station informing us of a late pick-up. One of them even ran off down the track rather than face the proposed walk-out over Beinn a' Chroin. Ho hum.
